Lot 208: Two (2) Schoenhut Dolls One antique, possibly a Walker Doll. Rare steel spring jointed pat.Jan 17 1911 American made Schoenhut Walker Doll. The wooden walker doll body features 3-piece arms and legs, jointed also at the wrists and ankles. The back top shoulder/neck area has original Schoenhut Decal Mark and copyright mark with patent date Jan 17, 1911. This Schoenhut doll is dress in a pin-striped style suit with a white shirt and under shirt, socks, brown boot style shoes, original lapel pin. Handpainted facial features, blue eyes with pouty mouth. No holes in bottom of feet or the shoes. No crazing or cracks, small flea chip top back neck joint and a chip on bottom socket of neck, although it appears to be made that way from the factory, due to consistent glaze throughout the doll. No wig or hat. Height: 14 ½ inches.; the second Schoenhut Doll is almost identical with brown eyes, pouty mouth, dressed in overalls and plaid red shirt. No decal, impressed on back (very hard to read). No chips, crazing or cracks. Estimate: $700-$1,000

Diminutive and thread bare, 5 ½ inch tall jointed teddy, no button in ear, no tag, missing almost all the plush on his body, but more than compensates with much charm and appeal. Estimate: $600-$900
