BUYING REAL ESTATE AT AUCTION
  1. AUCTION PROCESS

  2. Prospective Buyers Must:
    • preview the property in advance of the auction
    • review the disclosures prior to (purchase) sale and sign a receipt for the disclosures
    • make such additional inspections as buyer deems necessary
    • sign the "Bidders Agreement" terms and conditions present cashiers check (generally $15,000) to First American Title (checks will be returned to unsuccessful bidders)
    • obtain a DGW Auctioneers Auction Bidder Number
    • present proof of funds to close in the form of a Pre-Approval Letter or Bank Letter of Credit or Copy of Equities on Account
    • be prepared to increase the deposit amount to 10% of the sale price realized within 10 days of the auction
    • present a valid ID such as a Drivers License or Passport
  3. OFFERS
    • written bids may be submitted prior to the Auction
    • if using a realtor/agent, one must submit a Buyer Agency Form
    • B/A Agreement Form is supplied with bidders agreement
    • written bids (not verbal) will be submitted during the actual auction if bidders have completed the above requirements and deposited a Cashiers Check with DGW Auctioneers
    • phone bids may be accepted during the auction if bidders have completed the above requirements and deposited a Cashiers Check with DGW Auctioneers. DGW Auctioneers staff may call the bidder and execute bids on his/her behalf whilst the auction is being conducted

  4. CLOSE OF ESCROW
  5. Close of Escrow at a reputable Title Company using conventional allocations of costs for Buyer and Seller as customary for each county.
